FieldReg is an offline Modbus/PLC register decoder and field-reference utility for iPhone. We built it to do its job without collecting anything about you. This policy explains, plainly, what that means.
What stays on your device
Some information is stored locally on your iPhone only and is never sent to us or to anyone else:
- Register values, decode history, and saved presets you create while using the app, stored on-device using Apple’s SwiftData. This data is not synced to iCloud and is not transmitted off the device. Deleting the app removes it.
- App settings and preferences (for example, display options), stored using the iOS standard UserDefaults mechanism for an app’s own configuration.
We have no access to any of this. We cannot see it, retrieve it, or recover it.
Network use
FieldReg is designed to work fully offline, including on first launch and in airplane mode. The app contains no networking, analytics, or tracking code.
The only action that uses a network connection is an in-app purchase. When you buy or restore the “FieldReg Pro” unlock, the transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. Apple handles your payment; FieldReg never sees your payment details or Apple Account credentials — it receives only whether the purchase is active, so it can unlock the corresponding features. Apple’s handling of that transaction is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Third parties
FieldReg includes no third-party SDKs, advertising networks, or analytics services. No data is shared with any third party. The app does not use the Advertising Identifier and performs no tracking as defined by Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework.
Children’s privacy
Because FieldReg collects no data at all, it collects no data from children. The app is safe for users of any age in this respect.
Your choices
Since no personal data is collected or stored off your device, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. You remain in full control of the on-device data, which you can remove at any time by clearing history/presets in the app or by deleting the app.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and post the revised version at this URL. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
