This policy describes how Aphelion Engineering Pty Ltd (ACN 697 870 812 · ABN 19 697 870 812) handles information on this website, aphelionengineering.com.au. In this policy, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Aphelion Engineering Pty Ltd. We are an Australian proprietary company based in Perth, Western Australia.
This is a static marketing site. It does not run third‑party analytics, set advertising cookies, or embed behavioural trackers. Each of our products has its own privacy policy that applies to use of that product.
1. What this website collects
We keep website data collection to the minimum needed to serve the site safely.
- Server log data — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp, and referrer. This is standard CDN logging used to keep the site secure, debug errors, and mitigate abuse. Provided by Cloudflare as our hosting and CDN provider, and retained per Cloudflare's edge-log retention policy.
- Information you send by email — if you email us using the address below, we keep the message so we can reply. We do not add you to a marketing list.
We do not use this site to collect: marketing analytics from third parties (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no similar), advertising cookies, location data, contact lists, or biometric data.
2. Cookies
This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may set the security cookie __cf_bm to distinguish humans from automated traffic; this is automatic and used only for bot mitigation.
3. Third parties we rely on
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts and serves this website (Cloudflare Pages, CDN, DNS). Cloudflare processes IP addresses and request metadata on our behalf. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
- Microsoft Corporation — provides our email service (Microsoft 365). Email you send us is stored in Microsoft 365 mailboxes. See microsoft.com/trust-center/privacy.
We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
4. Product privacy policies
Each Aphelion Engineering product has its own privacy policy describing data practices specific to that product. If you use one of our products, please read the relevant product policy in addition to this site policy:

5. Your rights
If you are a resident of Australia, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, or another jurisdiction with statutory privacy rights, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete information we hold about you. We hold very little — typically only the CDN log entries above and any email you have chosen to send us. Send requests to the contact address below and we will respond within a reasonable time, normally 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
6. Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information through this site, please contact us using the details below and we will delete it.
7. Changes to this policy
If our practices change, we will update this page. The effective date at the top tells you when the current version of the policy took effect. Substantive changes will increment the effective date.
