About Golden Wattle

Golden Wattle is an independent citizenship study aid. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Australian Government or the Department of Home Affairs. Practice results are study feedback and do not guarantee that you will pass an official test. Consult current Home Affairs information for the official requirements. Translations are study assistance; the official test is in English.
Free study and Premium
The app includes a free study guide and a cumulative sample of practice questions and mock testing. Premium unlocks the full question bank, repeat mock tests, values practice and personalised reviews. Available plans and the price that applies to you are shown in Google Play before purchase.
In Australia, the weekly plan is A$1.99 per week. Eligible new subscribers can receive 14 days free, followed automatically by the weekly charge. Google Play determines eligibility. If no trial applies, the regular plan is shown. Weekly access renews automatically until cancelled.
Lifetime is A$9.99 once in Australia, with no recurring charge or subscription expiry. Buying Lifetime does not cancel an existing weekly subscription. Lifetime applies to Premium features in this app and is not a promise that every future separate product or service will be included.
Cancellation, refunds and restoration
Manage or cancel a weekly subscription through Google Play. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid its first charge, or before the next renewal to stop subsequent charges. Removing the app or clearing its data does not cancel a subscription. Google Play shows the applicable billing and access dates.
A verified completed purchase is required for Premium access. Pending or declined payments do not unlock new access. Buying and restoring require an internet connection and successful Play and device checks. A verified subscription can work offline until its last verified expiry; Lifetime access can be cached and is checked again when online. Reinstalling or changing devices requires restoration using the same Google Play account. Apple purchases and study progress do not transfer through Google Play restoration.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
Content and permitted use
We permit you to use the app for lawful personal study. Do not interfere with the service, attempt to bypass payment or security checks, or misrepresent the app as an official government product. These restrictions do not limit uses permitted by law or the separate licences applying to content.
Study material is adapted from Australian Citizenship: Our Common Bond (testable section), Commonwealth of Australia 2020, under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. Attribution and adaptation notes appear in the study guide. That licence applies to the covered material; it does not grant rights to excluded government symbols, logos, third-party material or our app software and branding. Your rights to reuse covered Creative Commons material are preserved.
Availability, changes and privacy
We maintain the app with reasonable care, but study content, supported devices and external services can change. Errors or interruptions may occur. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or a particular official-test outcome. Your non-excludable legal rights remain unaffected.
The Android privacy policy explains study storage, device backups, purchase verification and how to request access, correction or deletion. We may update these terms for changes to the app or applicable requirements, with the revised date shown. Changes to Google Play prices or subscription terms are presented through the applicable store process.
Applicable law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and applicable Australian law, without removing any mandatory protections available to you. Please contact bijan@aphelionengineering.com.au first so we can try to resolve a concern.
